We are coming up on our church's 1st anniversary as a particularized church. God has indeed been abundantly kind to us. I am exceedingly grateful to shepherd such a joyful, generous, and hospitable group of saints. Well done.
We are about a week and a half out from CREC's triennial council, which will be held in Nashville. Our two delegates are myself and Josh Edgren. Pray for us as we travel and deliberate and fellowship. Also, pray for Jeremiah Jasso as he will be sitting for his ordination exam. Sometime in the weeks following we will get an HOH meeting on the calendar to give an update on anything worth noting from CREC Council.
Now, here are the upcoming events you should be mindful of and join in on...

Door Knocking
Saturday, Sept 19
Door knocking continues each Saturday, getting folks motivated to vote NO on Prop 1! This law would reintroduce abortion to Idaho in a more extreme way than even California. We must work to defeat this thing.
Catechism Class continues this Sunday. Take a few minutes to review this next question with your kiddos.
Q. 5
Are there more Gods than one?
A. There is but one only, the living and true God.

Monthly Potluck
Sunday, Sept 27 · 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. · Ghormley Park · 400 Home St, Moscow
Join us for our monthly potluck right after the service! We will meet at Ghormley Park. There's a playground, pickleball courts, and plenty of space for yard games. Bring chairs & blankets for seating. This month we will have BREAKFAST/BRUNCH. Join us as we eat together, fellowship, and sing psalms. We hope to see you there!
Lastly, this Sunday I will be beginning a series preaching through 2 Peter: Life in Days of Doom.
I trust that this will be a rather fitting series as 2 Peter is addressing life in the midst of tumultuous times, when many give way to despair, apathy, and even apostasy. The saints are called to live with eyes firmly fixed on Christ, even in the midst of days of doom.
